Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are what make an organization such as the Petaluma Elks Lodge “work”!  We depend on our volunteers every day — and we have fun working together!!  Whether it’s Taco Tuesday for our members, the Alzheimer’s Walk breakfast, delivering food baskets for those in need over the holidays, or providing dictionaries to 2nd graders in Petaluma, we appreciate each and every thing our volunteers do to help us in our mission to serve those who need a helping hand. Why don’t you join in??

Below, please find some current volunteer openings.  If you have general questions, call the office (707-763-0901 ext 0).  If you are interested in a particular opportunity, just send an email to the Committee Chair/Contact Person listed.  They will respond to you ASAP!  Thanks in advance for your participation!

Committee Members & Lodge Officers

We have a broad variety of committees and need members to join these teams to insure that we can do our best in serving the community and those in need.  If you enjoy working as part of a team, have experience or enjoy planning & organizing, and would like to get involved at deeper level, please considering becoming part of a committee or joining the Officer Corps — We also have an elite group of volunteers that act as our Lodge Officers.  These folks work as the leadership team for the Lodge, compete against other lodges in our district in performing the Initiation Ritual, and participate in the monthly meetings and periodic planning sessions to insure the continued success of the lodge.  If you are interested in participating in either of these areas, forward your contact information and area of interest to the attention of Ted O’Shea, Exalted Ruler to office@elks901.org.  Current committee opportunities include: Membership, Drug Awareness, Audit & Accounting, Lodge Activities, Holiday Food Baskets, Youth Activities, Scholarships.
